From Adelaide CBD
The Museum is located in the northern Adelaide suburb of St.Kilda in the municipality of Salisbury.
It is about 40 minutes by car. Unfortunately, there is no public transport. Take the Main North Road out of the city to Gepps Cross (about 30 minutes). Follow National Highway 1 (Port Wakefield Road) north for about 10 minutes to the St.Kilda turn off on the left. Turn left into St Kilda Road and continue along St.Kilda Road for about 2 kilometres. The Museum is on the left.
From the North
If travelling from Gawler and Elizabeth on the Main North Road (Sturt Highway), look for the Salisbury turn off on the right.
Cross the railway line at Salisbury and continue along Waterloo Corner Road for 4 or 5 kilometres until you reach the Port Wakefield Road (National Highway 1) ‘T’ junction. Turn right into Port Wakefield Road and move into the left lane as soon as safe to do so. Within a few hundred metres you will see the St Kilda turn off sign on the left. Turn left into St Kilda Road and continue along St.Kilda Road for about 2 kilometres. The Museum is on the left.
