Celebrating 60 years of the Tramway Museum, St Kilda.

Join us at the Tramway Museum, St Kilda over the October long weekend as we celebrate 60 years of preserving Adelaide's electric public transport history!
This will be a big weekend with a number of special events organised including:
- After an absence of over 15 years, H1 type tram 381 'The Streamliner' will be recommissioned after a major refurbishment program by the Museum volunteers with public trips available on board.
- The dedication of our newly constructed workshop and running shed.
- A wide variety of Adelaide trams in operation on both days (including a rare appearance by Adelaide's very first electric tram, number 1 from 1908 in operation).
- A shuttle bus connection from Salisbury Interchange to the Tramway Museum (provided courtesy of Buses R Us).
- A wide variety of veteran, vintage and classic cars and restored Adelaide buses.
- A sausage sizzle and a High Tea (served on board the 'Grand Lady' restaurant tram).

Regular admission costs apply.
